Cut Throat at The Lab

Supported by Dublin City of Science 2012, this exhibition at The LAB pushed Tynan’s work beyond the fixed manifestations of installation with an explorative performance from contemporary dancer, Rachel Ensor, whose opening night performance was screened throughout the show – Cut Throat.

Gallery Talk 1: Visualising long-term illness: Artists’ Talk.
This chaired discussion brought together artists working in this domain in light of Rachel Tynan’s research and resulting exhibition Cut Throat.

Gallery talk 2: Curating Arts and Health.
The second chaired discussion relating to the exhibition questioned the context for this work needing to be made, how it is curated, and how it is presented to the public.
